Is your hair dry, thick and coarse? And do you dream of having soft, shiny and well defined tresses?
Today I am going to share with you a hair friendly natural ingredient that can transform your dry, coarse hair into gorgeously soft, nourished hair.
This hair secret is not something extravagant, but surprisingly a very common thing – Coconut Milk.
Coconut Milk Hair Benefits
Coconut milk has loads of good fats, proteins, vitamin C and minerals such as manganese, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and zinc – all of these nourish hair follicles and makes hair grow longer and healthier.
Besides the above, its creamy texture works as an effective hair conditioner and helps to hydrate every single strand and condition from deep within. Here are listed some of the top benefits of coconut milk for your hair:
(i) Promotes hair growth
(ii) Deep conditions hair and hydrates every strand
(iii) Restores Dry, Damaged Hair
(iv) Leaves hair feeling soft, silky and shiny
(v) Tames frizz and fly-aways, thereby helps managing hair
(vi) Effectively reduces split ends and controls hair breakage
(vii) Helps detangling hair
(viii) Treats scalp dryness
Coconut oil and milk can be both ideal to use for your hair. They are equally beneficial in terms of hair care. However if your hair is coarse and dry then consider skipping the oil and use coconut milk instead. The reason is because dry hair needs a combination of fatty acids plus moisture – which the oil lacks.
