Yogurt In Hair Recipes
1. Yogurt And Egg White Hair Mask: Whisk 1 egg white until you have it in foamy form. Mix in well 6 tablespoons of plain (unflavored and unsweetened) natural yogurt/curd. Massage the mixture very gently onto hair, dividing it in small sections at a time. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then rinse it off. This all natural basic mask works as a perfect conditioning, de-frizzing, and shine-augmenting treatment.
2. Yogurt Scalp And Hair Conditioner: Another easy hair mask. Take a container of unsweetened, unflavored yogurt/curd into the shower with you and simply apply it to your wet hair. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes, so that it gets enough time to soak in, and then rinse it off. The active cultures contained in the yogurt not only help to moisturize problem areas on your scalp, but treat itching and general irritation as well.
3. Yogurt and Lemon Juice Hair Highlights: This hair mask is useful for women (and even men) having lighter hair. Simply mix in well2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 cup of plain curd/yogurt. Apply this mixture into your hair, leaving it to stay on for about 30 minutes. Shampoo your hair as usual. This mask accentuates the lighter notes in your hair, fashioning a multifaceted and spa-inspired look, that too at the price of a lemon and yogurt!
