The tea tree oil helps fight acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The lavender has antioxidants, so provides a calming effect.

You will need:

Bentonite clay: 1 tablespoon

Tea tree oil: 2-3 drops

Lavender essential oil (optional): 1 drop

Method

Mix the above ingredients with 2-3 tablespoons of clean water in a small glass to make a uniform consistency, spreadable paste. Remember to not use a metal utensil when working with Bentonite clay. Apply the mask over the skin, leaving it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water.

Soothing Yogurt Clay Mask To Fight Acne

Yogurt contains natural lactic acid, which helps exfoliate skin and tighten skin pores. Yogurt also contains anti-fungal & anti-bacterial properties that help keep blemishes at bay.

You will need

Bentonite clay: 1 tablespoon

Yogurt: 1 tablespoon, plain (unsweetened & unflavored)

Method:

Mix the two ingredients in a small glass (non-metal) bowl to make a smooth, spreadable paste. If required adjust the amounts to get consistency as desired. Apply to your face, leaving it on for 10-15 minutes. Wash your face with warm water and a soft washcloth and remove the mask.

Acne-Fighting Honey Clay Mask For Glowing Skin

Honey has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. While nourishing aging skin and fighting acne, honey also provides natural glow to your skin.

You will need:

Bentonite clay: 1 tablespoon

Honey: 1 tablespoon, raw

Combine the above ingredients and add 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well to make a uniform, spreadable paste. Remember, not to use a metal utensil when working with bentonite clay. You can use a small glass bowl. Apply the pack, leaving it on for about for 10 to 15 minutes.  Wash your face with warm water and a soft washcloth to remove the mask.

Acne-Fighting Tea Tree Oil, Clay Mask

Tea Tree Essential Oil contains antiseptic properties, and has been traditionally used as a home remedy to treat acne.

Besides anti-inflammatory properties, oats contain saponins, a cleansing agent – which makes oats great for all skin types, including oily & sensitive skin.

You will need

Bentonite clay: 1 tablespoon

Tea tree essential oil: 3-4 drops

Oats: 1 tablespoon, ground

Method

Grind the oats in a spice grinder or blender. Pulse until they are coarse and flour-like. Combine the ground oats with bentonite clay in a small glass bowl. Make sure, you do not use a metal utensil when working with bentonite clay.  Add in enough water and mix well to prepare a smooth, spreadable paste. Now add in 3-4 drops of tea tree essential oil and stir thoroughly. Apply the pack on your face, leaving it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Wash your face with warm water and a soft washcloth to remove the pack.
