Best Homemade Face Wash Recipes

Mostly people are enticed by the care-free, flawless-skinned, flowing hair models bouncing around in the beauty-products ads and use the commercial face wash products without looking at the ingredients. Many beauty products manufactured by multinational corporations contain synthetic colorants, synthetic fragrances and chemicals that can damage the skin and may lead to allergies, dermatitis, respiratory problems, or harm the reproductive system. And if you opt for buying a good quality organic or natural facial cleanser from market, it would punch a big hole in your pocket.

  2. Hello.
I was wondering if you have any suggestions of homemade cleansers I can make for my 12 year old, he’s getting some pimples here and there on his face and I’m sure his face is sensitive (I guess that would be the word to use) but I don’t want to buy over the counter products cause they might be too strong for his skin. So I was wondering if you can help me?
    Thank you.

    • Hi Katie:

Use the face wash no. 5 (Homemade Face Cleanser For Sensitive Skin) for your son.

He can also use face wash no. 6, but mix organic apple cider vinegar and distilled water in 1:4 ratio. Its good for acne prone skin.

As a precaution you can also do a patch test behind your son’s ear, using a very tiny amount of the homemade face wash.

Here is the link to a site that has best hommade acne treatments. You can search here for your son’s acne problems.
