There is a lot of confusion about using toner. To most of us it may even seem unnecessary step in a skin care routine. But most experts concur that toning can be a valuable addition to a skin care regime. After you cleanse impurities from your skin, toner sweeps away any residue left behind by the cleanser as well as any makeup or oils your cleanser might have missed.
All the more toning is essential for you if you have oily skin because it helps shrink skin pores, restores the pH balance of your skin, adds a layer of protection, and forms a perfect base upon which the moisturizer can be applied.
