How To Make Matcha Green Tea Mask At Home

Today, I want to share with you some super-easy and best-ever face masks I’ve been making using matcha green tea powder.

1. Good for Oily to Normal skin:

You will need:

(i) Matcha Green Tea: 1 teaspoon

(ii) Water or Aloe Vera: Few drops

Method: Put matcha green tea powder into a small glass bowl. While stirring add in slowly water or aloe vera gel. Make a spreadable mask which is neither too much thick nor runny. As you want it to stay on your face. If you make the right consistency, the mask will both get on easily and stay put. It will then slowly dry. Apply it all over your face and neck, leaving it on for at least 30 minutes.

Soak a flannel in lukewarm water and remove the mask. As you wipe off the dried mask, you’ll be gently exfoliating your skin to reveal your strikingly more healthy and glowing complexion.

2. Good For Dry Skin:

You will need:

(i) Matcha Green Tea: 2 teaspoons

(ii) Organic Coconut Oil: ½ teaspoon (Coconut oil is anti-inflammatory and a great moisturizer. Its natural anti-bacterial properties will help keep your skin radiantly clear)

(iii) Water

Method: Put Matcha Green Tea in a glass bowl. While stirring, add in coconut oil and a few drops of water. Keep on adding water a few drops at a time until you get a smooth yet thick paste of uniform consistency.  Add only that much water so as to make it spreadable – neither too thick nor runny. . If you make the right consistency, the mask will both get on easily and stay put. It will then slowly dry. Apply it all over your face and neck, leaving it on for at least 30 minutes.

Soak a flannel in lukewarm water and remove the mask. As you wipe off the dried mask, you’ll be gently exfoliating your skin to reveal your strikingly more healthy and glowing complexion.

Folks having dry skin can also use any other oil of their choice. Olive and castor oils are generally good options.
