Today, I am sharing with you a recipe for two of my favorite homemade beauty products – homemade rose water and diy rosewater spray! Rosewater spray for face is a hydrating and cooling mist that smells groovy and is utterly refreshing. You just require only 2 ingredients to make it at home. I love it so much that it has become my constant part of my skin care regime. I always keep it in my purse, so much so even in my gym bag.

You can use rose water as part of skin care regime. It helps sooth and cool sensitive and irritated skin, balance and cleanse oily skin, rejuvenate, soften and tone mature skin, revitalize and add beautiful glow to the normal skin.
You don’t know when your skin will need a bit more loving. So, wherever you go try to carry a small bottle of rose water to keep your skin looking fresh, dewy, and hydrated. Whether it’s the summer heat or winter chill, rose water spray can be your all weather friend to combat dry skin.
How To Make Rose Water Face Spray?
Rosewater facial spray is used for skin hydration on your face as well as your whole body. You can use it anytime for refreshing and nourishing your skin. You don’t need to buy it from market, as it can be very expensive, particularly if you are looking for an organic rose water spray. Here, I am sharing with you a less expensive way to keep your skin healthy.
Let Us First Make Rosewater At Home
(i) You’ll need only rose petals. So take some rose flowers and remove fresh rose petals from the flowers.
(ii) Put the petals in a saucepan. Cover them with water until the rose petals are just under the water. Use one part rose petals and two parts water.
(iii) Place the saucepan over low heat. Let the petals simmer until all the color from the rose petals has left the petals. You will observe the rose oil floating on the surface.
(iv) Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature. Strain the rose petals and keep the rose water to the side.
Now Make Your Own Rose Facial Spray At Home
You will need:
(i) Rose water: ½ cup
(ii) Jojoba oil: 2-3 tablespoons (or you can use any other oil of your choice)
Method:
(i) Pour the ingredients in a reusable spray bottle and mix them well.
(ii) Shake the spray bottle well before each spritz.

Natural Beauty Tips:
(i) Keep the spray bottle in cool place.
(ii) You can use this concoction to refresh your face any time during the day so as to keep your skin hydrated.
Tips:
Oil: You can use between 2-3 tablespoons. If your skin is on the drier side, add 3 tablespoons. If your skin is oily, add 2 tablespoons or even less.
Rose Petals: Avoid adding rose petals in the spray bottle. As if you keep rose water spray for long they’ll go bad and ruin your beautiful water!
Storage: If you are left with extra rose water or rose water spray after filling up the spray bottle then store the extra in the fridge! Storing some in the fridge is also a great way to use it in the summer time or whenever you need a quick, cool, refreshing spray. Shake it well and spritz on your face. It’s as simple as that!
