Is nutmeg good for exfoliating skin?
Oily Skin And Acne Prone Skin: Nutmeg has great astringent, anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties, making it an effective option for individuals having acne-prone skin.
Dry Skin: Besides it’s great antibacterial properties, nutmeg also helps moisturizing and nourishing your skin. So while sloughing off dry, dead skin cells, it nourishes and moisturizes the skin as well.
Normal Skin: Believe me, this is an all-around amazing natural ingredient that works on all skin types. It’s an effective way to remove old icky skin, revealing radiant, healthy skin underneath.

How To Use Nutmeg For Exfoliating Acne Prone Skin?
Use this nutmeg acne exfoliating cleanser after cleansing the makeup completely off your skin.
You will need:
(i) Nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon, ground
(ii) Honey: 1-2 tablespoon; raw, organic and unfiltered
(iii) Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
(iv) Clove oil: 1-2 drops
(v) Apple cider vinegar: 1/2 teaspoon, alternatively lemon Juice (optional)
Mix well the baking soda, nutmeg and the raw honey. Add in clove oil and apple cider vinegar; stir thoroughly so as to form spreadable paste (adjust the honey quantity to get a paste of desired consistency). Massage the mixture into your skin for about 2 minutes.
Your skin might feel warm & a little bit tingly, as the nutmeg gets deep into the skin pores to work its magic. Rinse using lukewarm water.
Note: Test the concoction on a small patch to check if it irritates your skin before using it.
Frequency: Use this exfoliant once a week.
